Senior Accountant/ Assistant Finance Manager (FMCG)

A dynamic organisation within the consumer sector is seeking a finance professional to support core financial operations while contributing to an ongoing ERP transformation initiative. This role offers a blend of hands-on finance responsibilities and exposure to system and process improvements.

KeyResponsibilities

Finance
. Manage month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, including accruals and capital expenditure tracking
. Prepare management reports with clear analysis of variances, key trends, and business performance insights
. Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with commercial and operational teams
. Monitor operating costs and drive initiatives to improve cost efficiency and financial discipline
. Oversee cash flow planning, receivables management, and balance sheet integrity
. Support tax compliance, audit processes, and ensure adherence to internal controls and financial governance standards

Finance ERP Transformation
. Support the implementation of a new ERP system, including finance process alignment, testing, and deployment activities
. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system transition, data integrity, and minimal disruption to finance operations

Requirements

. Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CFA are advantageous
. Minimum 5- 7 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably within an FMCG / F&B Distribution or Consumer-driven environment
. Strong foundation in financial reporting, forecasting, and cost control
. Experience with ERP systems and exposure to system implementation or migration projects (SAP/ MS Dynamics) would be a plus
. Proficient in Excel and familiar with data analytics or reporting tools (e.g.Power BI, Power Query)
. Strong communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
