Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain an effective, organisation-wide infection control programme within primary care settings
- Provide training and guidance to healthcare staff on infection prevention protocols and compliance standards
- Design and support patient education initiatives related to infectious diseases and prevention measures
- Act as a subject matter expert and advisor on infection control practices
- Conduct surveillance activities, monitor trends and prevalence of infections, and analyse data to recommend and implement control measures
- Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements through effective infection prevention strategies
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Minimum 9-11 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 2 years in infection control
- Strong understanding of epidemiological principles and infection prevention practices
