Key Job Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership & Care Coordination: Plan, direct, and evaluate resident care plans to ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective services. They oversee residents with complex conditions and manage clinical deterioration.
- Quality Management & Audit: Perform clinical audits, ensure compliance with nursing standards set by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Singapore Nursing Board (SNB), and take corrective actions to improve care.
- Mentorship & Training: Supervise and mentor nursing staff, conduct on-the-job training, and assess staff competencies.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and staff to execute treatment plans.
- Resident and Family Support: Provide education to residents and their families on disease management and rehabilitation.
- Infection Control: Review and maintain strict infection control practices in the facility.
Requirements typically include:
- Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Degree in Nursing or equivalent, often with an Advanced Diploma in Nursing.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in a ward setting, with proven clinical skills.
