NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIST

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Perform PET/CT scans and produce high quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Perform calibration, QC and QA of PET machines.
• Ensure proper documentation of PET protocols and optimization of scans.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and supplies and maintain machine breakdown log.
• Ensure compliance with radioactivity decontamination protocol and prompt reporting of incidences.
• Act as Radiation Safety Officer for PET/CT isotopes and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and policies.
• Work closely with nurses to deliver excellent patient care.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent.
• Prior experience in working in Nuclear Medicine department at a hospital/clinic in Singapore will be an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other colleagues.
