Job Summary
Lead and drive New Product Introduction (NPI) activities within the plant, collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and headquarters to ensure seamless product introduction and packaging. Support production processes and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute all NPI activities within the plant, ensuring timely and quality product launches
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, customers, and HQ/factory to coordinate product introduction and packaging requirements
- Create and modify Bill of Materials (BOM) structures to optimize assembly processes
- Maintain and utilize Shop Floor Control (SFC) systems and SAP to support production tracking and data accuracy
- Apply knowledge of server and rack assembly processes to improve production workflows
- Participate in rack packaging design to enhance product protection and logistics efficiency
- Lead and engage in Kaizen continuous improvement activities to drive operational excellence
- Provide production support during mass production runs to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution
- Participate in internal and external ISO audits to maintain compliance with quality standards
- Ensure compliance with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards throughout all activities
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering discipline with at least 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through resolving production and process challenges
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet project deadlines
- Project management skills applied to coordinate and deliver NPI projects successfully
- Attention to detail in reviewing processes, documentation, and product specifications
