Job Summary
Drive hotel sales growth by developing leads, managing accounts, and executing strategic marketing activities to maximize revenue and maintain competitive advantage.
Responsibilities
- Achieve daily targeted sales calls to generate new business opportunities effectively
- Develop weekly business leads to expand the hotel's client base
- Prepare monthly account penetration lists to target new and existing clients strategically
- Plan and conduct at least 5 site inspections or entertainment meetings weekly with qualified or new accounts
- Create monthly action plans focused on the main market segment to drive sales initiatives
- Review monthly account profiles analyzing room nights production and average rates to optimize performance
- Execute account penetration and marketing activities to sustain a competitive market position
- Manage assigned accounts fully, including contracting, profile updates, and contract renewals
- Update management on VIP arrivals and provide appropriate meet-and-greet services
- Up-sell, cross-sell, and promote hotel facilities and services at every opportunity to maximize sales revenue
- Conduct negotiations to secure the best profit margins and rates for the hotel
- Attend hotel client and local community business events to network and enhance visibility
- Participate in all briefings, meetings, and training sessions as assigned by management
- Define guest requirements precisely and ensure guest services meet their expectations effectively
- Provide after-sales service by efficiently addressing all guest complaints
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Sales, or Marketing
- Minimum 4 years of relevant sales experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Strong communication skills demonstrated in client interactions and negotiations
- Effective time management skills to prioritize and meet sales targets
- Understanding of sales strategies and account profitability
- Confident, enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude
