A North Indian Curry & Tandoor Business Development Manager
drives growth by identifying new markets, building client relationships, creating business plans for expansion (new outlets, catering), negotiating contracts, and working with culinary/marketing teams on promotions, while ensuring profitability and upholding quality standards for North Indian cuisine and tandoor items
Key duties include market research, lead generation, sales strategy, performance tracking, and internal collaboration to expand revenue and brand presence in the Indian food sector.
Key Responsibilities
- : Develop and implement strategies for market expansion, new locations, and catering services conduct market research on trends and competitors.
- : Generate leads, build relationships with potential clients, create proposals, negotiate deals, and manage key accounts.
- : Collaborate with culinary teams on menu development, ensuring high quality for curries, tandoor items, and overall food standards coordinate with marketing for promotions.
- : Meet sales targets, monitor KPIs, track performance, and report to management to ensure profitability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven sales/BD experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry, ideally with North Indian cuisine.
- Strong understanding of North Indian food, menu development, and tandoor operations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A degree in Hospitality or Business is often preferred.
