Non-Functional Test Engineer Performance & Load Testing

Key Responsibilities

. Design, write, and execute test cases for performance, load, stress, scalability, and reliability testing.

. Execute non-functional testing manually and using automation tools to ensure systems meet non-functional requirements and standards.

. Perform REST API, IBM MQ, and GUI performance testing.

. Conduct load testing and resiliency/failover testing.

. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on system performance and reliability.

. Develop and use scripts to execute tests and collect performance metrics.

. Collaborate with various teams to facilitate testing activities and resolve performance-related issues.

Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

. 3+ years of relevant experience as a Non-Functional Tester / Performance Test Engineer.

. Hands-on experience in REST API, IBM MQ, GUI performance testing, load testing, and resiliency/failover testing.

. Scripting experience with Bash, Perl, or Python.

. Strong experience working on UNIX/Linux platforms.

. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

. Knowledge of financial markets products such as Indices, Equities, Commodities, FX, and Fixed Income is an added advantage.
