As a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer, you will be responsible for real-time monitoring, incident response, and operational support of MyRepublic's broadband, voice, and mobile infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, performance, and security of critical network systems while serving as a Tier 2 escalation point for fault isolation and resolution. This role involves proactive surveillance, provisioning, and troubleshooting of IP-based services across enterprise and consumer networks.
How you'll contribute to MyRepublic's success:
- Monitor network health via NMS, SNMP traps, syslogs, and real-time telemetry to detect and respond to faults.
- Serve as the first responder to any network service difficulty, offering immediate
- troubleshooting and resolution
- Manage and resolve Tier 2 tickets involving escalated broadband, voice, and mobile network issues.
- Provision and maintain enterprise services (e.g., IP transit, DIA, L2VPN, L3VPN) including device-level CLI and cloud configurations (routers, switches, firewalls, APs).
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for network incidents
- Ensure timely incident handling and service requests in accordance with SLAs and SOPs.
- Coordinate with upstream carriers, NNIs, and wholesale partners for service provisioning and fault isolation.
- Handle vendor escalations, RMA processes, and maintain strong follow-up for resolution within SLA
- Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration baselines.
- Utilize packet-level diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark) for deep IP troubleshooting.
- Contribute to internal process improvements and knowledge base development.
- Participate in a 24/7 rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support.

- Diploma/Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or related field.
- Solid understanding of IP networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, BGP, OSPF).
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade routers, switches, firewalls (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Zyxel, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, MikroTik).
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Zabbix, SolarWinds, Wireshark).
- Knowledge of service provisioning (e.g., DHCP, static IP, NAT).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
- CCNA, JNCIA, or similar certifications are a plus.
