Position: NGS Service Sales Manager
Location: Singapore (Macrogen Asia Pacific)
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role
Macrogen APAC provides cutting-edge Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and genomic analysis services to research institutes, hospitals, biotech companies and government agencies across the Asia-Pacific region.
We are looking for an NGS Service Sales Manager who will engage directly with customers, introduce Macrogen's genomic services, understand project requirements, and manage end-to-end sequencing order processes.
This is a customer-facing technical sales role suited for candidates who have both scientific understanding and strong communication skills.
Drive sales activities to achieve monthly/quarterly targets in Singapore
Identify new business opportunities and manage existing customer accounts
Prepare quotations, manage the order process, and follow up on POs and invoicing
Conduct on-site and virtual meetings to present NGS services and discuss project needs
Explain NGS workflows, sequencing platforms, sample requirements and data output to customers
Provide consultation on appropriate services (WGS, WES, RNA-seq, Microbiome, Single-Cell, etc.)
Support customer education through seminars, webinars, and technical presentations
Guide customers on sample preparation, submission guidelines, and quality requirements
Work closely with laboratory, bioinformatics, and operations teams to manage ongoing projects
Communicate customer feedback and requirements to internal teams for service improvement
Coordinate with global HQ and APAC offices when needed
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genomics, or related fields
Minimum 2 years of experience in NGS, sequencing services, laboratory services, or technical sales
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
Ability to explain scientific concepts in a clear and concise manner
Hands-on knowledge of NGS workflows, sequencing platforms, or genomics analysis
Experience working with research institutes, universities, hospitals, or biotech companies
Proven track record in B2B scientific or lab service sales
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage multiple customer requests
