We're Hiring: Senior Technical Sales Manager NGS (APAC, Singapore-Based)
Location: Singapore (covering APAC markets)
I'm supporting a rapidly expanding global genomics and diagnostics solutions provider as they build their commercial presence across the APAC region.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Technical Sales Manager to lead regional growth across the company's NGS product portfolio, including:
- Library prep kits (amplicon, hybrid-capture, metagenomic)
- Indexed adapters, enzymes, extraction chemistry & consumables
- Oncology, hereditary disease & infectious disease NGS panels
- Automated extraction / purification systems
- Cloud-based bioinformatics analysis & reporting tools
This is a strategic role for someone passionate about accelerating NGS adoption across APAC's rapidly growing clinical and research markets.
The Role
As the senior commercial lead for APAC, you'll drive NGS adoption across clinical labs, molecular diagnostics centres, academic institutes, government programs, and biotech companies.
You'll work closely with customers across Singapore and the wider regionsuch as Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Australia, and Hong Kongbuilding relationships, supporting workflows, and driving high-impact sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive NGS sales and commercial expansion across APAC
- Build strong relationships with KOLs, sequencing labs & clinical leaders
- Deliver product demonstrations, seminars, and technical consultations
- Manage channel partners, distributors, and strategic accounts
- Identify growth opportunities and feed insights to product teams
- Represent the organisation at APAC conferences, roadshows & workshops
We're Looking For
- 5+ years experience in NGS sales, business development, or field applications
- Strong understanding of NGS workflows (sample library prep sequencing analysis)
- Proven success working with APAC sequencing labs or diagnostics centres
- Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genomics, etc.
- Based in Singapore with willingness to travel regionally
- Excellent communication, relationship building, and negotiation skills
