We are looking for a Hardware Integration Engineer to support the integration of charging hardware modules with software and system requirements. This role focuses on hardware review, supplier/interface coordination, prototype integration support, and mass-production readiness assistance in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Hardware integration support: Support integration activities across charging hardware modules, embedded controllers and related interfaces to ensure system compatibility and smooth integration with software.
Design review & verification: Review external hardware design outputs (e.g., drawings, schematics, BOM, test reports) and support internal verification against system requirements and safety/quality expectations.
Component screening & selection support: Assist the team in component screening and selection (e.g., power components, connectors, wiring, enclosures), and support the Project Manager in technical selection activities for pilot and production phases.
Prototype build & integration coordination: Support prototype build planning, integration checklists, and troubleshooting during lab testing coordinate issue tracking and closure with relevant parties.
Testing assistance: Assist in integration testing, basic validation and documentation of test results support identification of integration risks and propose practical improvements.
Documentation: Maintain clear documentation including integration notes, interface requirements, test records, change logs and release notes.
Supplier/partner coordination: Work with external partners and stakeholders to align deliverables, timelines and integration requirements.
Compliance support: Support adherence to relevant safety/quality standards by ensuring documentation completeness and traceability of requirements and test evidence.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
2-3 years of relevant experience in hardware integration, electrical/electronic systems, robotics, EV charging, battery/power systems, or related product engineering domains.
Basic understanding of embedded systems and hardware-software interfaces exposure to power/battery systems (e.g., BMS concepts) is an advantage.
Able to read and review technical documents such as schematics, mechanical drawings, BOMs and test reports.
Good problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
