Job Summary:
We are looking for a Network & Systems Engineer with a strong focus on network infrastructure to join our team. In this role, you will directly engage with clients, manage vendors, and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of network solutions. You will be responsible for analysing business requirements, ensuring network performance, and coordinating with vendors to deliver reliable IT services. This role is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of experience in system/network analysis or engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with clients to gather requirements, provide technical consultation, and propose suitable network/system solutions
- Manage vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery, SLA compliance, and high-quality support
- Support the design, configuration, and deployment of network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, VPNs, etc.)
- Monitor and troubleshoot network/system issues, escalate when required, and ensure minimal downtime
- Assist in the implementation of IT security policies, firewalls, and endpoint protection
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and user manuals
- Provide end-user training and post-implementation support
- Continuously review and optimize existing IT infrastructure to improve reliability and efficiency
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in IT system/network analysis, network engineering, or related fields
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline
- Hands-on experience with networking devices (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points)
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, and network monitoring tools
- Strong client-facing communication and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments, Cloud skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA) will be an advantage
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Singapore PR or citizenship is preferred
- Experience with ITIL processes or ticketing systems
- Exposure to cybersecurity solutions (endpoint security)
