Job Description
As a Network Solution Architect, you will be responsible for defining and executing Autonomous Network transformation strategies for Communications Service Providers (CSPs). The role drives the design and delivery of TM Forum Level 4+ autonomous network solutions by integrating AI/ML, GenAI, orchestration, OSS/BSS systems, and cloud-native architectures. You will lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams and engage at executive levels to shape next-generation telecom operating models powered by automation and AI.
What will you do
Strategy & Executive Leadership
- Define and implement Autonomous Network strategies for CSP customers.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising Network domain engineers, Systems Integration engineers, DevOps developers, AI developers, and Infrastructure engineers.
- Engage with C-level stakeholders to influence transformation roadmaps and strategic direction.
- Drive transition planning from current-state to target-state autonomous capabilities across network domains.
Solution Architecture & Systems Integration
- Design and oversee end-to-end technology solutions aligned with CSP business objectives and technical constraints.
- Architect and integrate OSS/BSS systems across fault, performance, configuration/change, and service management domains.
- Ensure interoperability between legacy platforms and next-generation architectures (SDN/NFV, cloud-native, intent-based networking).
- Evaluate technologies and vendors for architectural fit, scalability, and integration feasibility.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs.
- Assess technical trade-offs and provide alternative architectural approaches.
AI-Driven Autonomous Networks
- Develop and implement AI/ML and GenAI models for predictive maintenance, self-healing, and self-optimizing networks.
- Drive closed-loop automation, digital twin implementations, and intent-based orchestration aligned with TM Forum standards.
- Lead AI and automation initiatives across wireless and wireline networks.
- Implement Zero-touch operations and AIOps-driven automation frameworks.
Governance, Delivery & Operational Excellence
- Provide thought leadership in AI-enabled network strategy and end-to-end automation.
- Oversee vendor integration, governance frameworks, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Lead complex systems integration and software delivery programs across cloud-native and hybrid architectures.
- Drive Agile delivery practices, backlog management, and cross-functional team coordination.
- Ensure alignment with ITSM processes and operational governance standards.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Familiarity with TM Forum standards in Autonomous Networks and Intent-based Networking
- Expertise in TM Forum Autonomous Network Level 4+ design and implementation
- Deep experience in OSS/BSS integration and orchestration
- Strong background in Zero-touch operations and AI/ML-driven automation (AIOps)
- 15+ years of experience in Telco networks engineering and operations, with proven delivery of autonomous network solutions
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and deliver complex integration programs
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Proficiency in translating business requirements into end-to-end functional and technical designs
- Strong systems integration and software delivery background across cloud-native and enterprise IT architectures
- Architecture design expertise across application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers
- Experience designing target-state architectures, transition roadmaps, and integration strategies
- Knowledge of interoperability standards, APIs, service-oriented architecture, container orchestration (Kubernetes), microservices, and event-driven systems
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native services
- Experience with hybrid, cloud-native, and legacy architecture models
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional delivery leadership
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management) and governance processes
- Bachelor's degree in Telecom, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (Master's preferred)
