We are looking for a Network Services Engineer / Lead to support and deliver cloud-based networking solutions. This role involves deployment, troubleshooting, and support of large-scale network infrastructure, with opportunities to take on leadership responsibilities for senior candidates.
Responsibilities
- Support and deploy cloud-based network solutions
- Troubleshoot issues across cloud-scale and backbone networks
- Manage and support SDN and cloud networking services (e.g. Azure Front Door, DDoS, DNS, ExpressRoute)
- Perform system maintenance, enhancements, and incident resolution
- Participate in on-call support for critical issues
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Engineer level: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in large-scale data centre environments
- Senior/Lead level: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Leadership experience required for Lead role
Required Skills
- Experience in cloud and network infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Experience with virtual networking technologies (SDN, VNET, DNS, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer, Traffic Manager)
- Hands-on experience in network troubleshooting and support
- Scripting / programming knowledge (Python, Java, Kusto, Perl)
- Familiarity with JSON and XML
Preferred Skills
- Certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP
- Experience in network automation and security
