Pre-requisites
. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and manage deployment activities for customers cloud environments
- Troubleshoot issues across cloud-scale and backbone networks
- Support and maintain software-defined networking (SDN) services, including:o Azure Front Door (AFD)o Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protectiono Domain Name System (DNS)o ExpressRoute
- Participate in standby/on-call duties to provide after-hours support Technical
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a large-scale data center environment (for Engineer role)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a large-scale data center environment (for Senior Engineer role)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and business functions
- Strong leadership qualities candidates with team leadership experience may be considered for a Lead role
Skill Sets
- Programming Languages: Kusto, Java, Python, Perl
- Operating Systems: Linux
- Virtual Networking: SDN, VNET, DNS, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, Load Balancer
- Data Formats: JSON, XML
- Certifications (Preferred): CCNP, JNCIP
- Additional Skills: Network automation and security experience
