Our client, a leading Global Cyber Security Distributor is recruiting for a Network Security Engineer (post sales)
Job Location: Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales and product teams to support solution design, implementation, and customer success
- Provide post-sales technical support, including deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network security solutions
- Act as the technical point of contact for customers during and after implementation
- Conduct system testing, acceptance, and documentation to ensure successful delivery
- Assist in resolving escalated technical issues and provide timely root-cause analysis
- Deliver knowledge transfer, technical training, and best-practice guidance to customers
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT Security sector, with a technical background in network engineering, particularly in firewall implementation/deployment.
- Familiarity with security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS
- Proficient in firewall solutions such as [specific firewalls, e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet].
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and core principles of network security.
- Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP model, network security, and related protocols.
- Palo Alto certified is a mandatory requirement.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
