IT Executive (Civil Engineering)

Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented IT Executive to join our Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Head of Department and play a key role in upkeep of IT Technology, evaluation and portfolio management across road construction and civil engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day to day all levels of comprehensive IT support to all staff (HQ offices and Site offices) in term of network servers, hardware, software, emails, cloud services and other IT related matters.

• Work closely with Head of Department in reviewing and enhancing business work process using IT emerging technologies.

• Work closely with Head of Department on information technology management needs, user's IT related challenges and opportunities for improvement.

• Work closely with Telco, technology vendors or contractors to obtain the highest possible level of services or quality at a reasonable cost.

• Administration, management and monitoring of HQ Servers and Site Servers. Manage new site offices setup and relocations.

• Manage accurate assets inventory and keep up to date IT filing and documentation such as IT hardware asset list for tracking and provisioning and an IT software list to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution. Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve user issues.

• Proper escalation of unresolved issues and work closely with application, infrastructure, project and security to resolve within a reasonable time.

• Provide network management and maintenance to ensure business continuity with minimal downtime with Fortinet firewalls, Site to Site VPN, Cisco Switches and APs.

• Administration of user accounts and access rights in Active Directory, Azure AD and Microsoft365.

• Consolidation and standardization of IT documentation to spread across multiple sites into a single location for ease of future IT information management.

• Ensure disaster recovery plan are in place with routine checks on high availability networks.

• Ensure system security updates or patches and stay up to date with latest security threats and vulnerabilities so that appropriate safeguards and countermeasures can be implemented.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 to 5 year of experiences.

• Experience with servers, networking, End user computing (M365, Google, Workspace).

• Experience in Asset, software management, procurement and budget.

• Experience in HR E-Suite System (Info-Tech Full HR Cloud) will be added-advantage.

• Experience in software (Sage) will be added-advantage.

• Preferred experience in one or more of the following sectors: Road construction, building, civil engineering
