Responsibilities
- Support and manage enterprise security tools including firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS, and micro-segmentation platforms.
- Implement, review, and troubleshoot firewall rules (FortiGate/FortiManager, Checkpoint R81.x).
- Deploy and maintain Zero-Trust and network segmentation solutions.
- Monitor web-security policies, signature updates, and vulnerabilities assess risks and recommend mitigations.
- Handle production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide off-hours support when required.
- Participate in security tool upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with IT security governance and control frameworks.
- Support audit activities and maintain clear technical/process documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for security operations and project delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT Security, with strong focus on Network Security.
- Hands-on experience in firewall rule analysis and filtering mechanisms (FortiGate, Checkpoint R81.x).
- Strong understanding of Zero-Trust architecture and micro-segmentation (Illumio preferred).
- Experience in WAF operations (e.g., F5 ASM, AVI/Broadcom).
- Solid knowledge of IDS/IPS and network security principles.
- Experience managing production incidents and conducting root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Microsoft Office tools.
- Scripting knowledge (e.g.,Python) is an advantage.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant firewall or security certifications preferred.
