Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a Network Security Engineer for a contract on-site role based in Singapore. The Network Security Engineer will design, implement, manage, and monitor the security infrastructure to ensure robust protection of network systems. Day-to-day tasks include configuring firewalls, managing network security protocols, monitoring network performance, identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and responding swiftly to security breaches. The Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the security posture and support compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

• Proficiency in firewall configuration and management, access control, and network traffic analysis
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity protocols, vulnerability assessment, and threat mitigation techniques
• Knowledge of intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and endpoint security
• Experience with network architecture, security audits, and incident response management
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS benchmarks
• Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively under pressure
• Relevant technical certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience in a similar role, preferably within IT consulting or the technology industry, is an advantage
