Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and AI certifications to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in networking, security, and the application of AI technologies to optimize network performance and security. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure while integrating AI-driven solutions to enhance network automation, monitoring, and problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, scalable, and high-performance network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, and data centers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design network solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and security protocols.
- Leverage AI and machine learning technologies to automate network configurations, monitor network traffic, and predict and prevent network issues.
- Design and implement AI-driven solutions for network performance optimization, predictive maintenance, and anomaly detection.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the network from vulnerabilities, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, MAS TRM).
- Utilize AI-driven network monitoring tools to proactively detect and resolve network issues, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and lead incident resolution efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
- Provide technical leadership to junior network engineers, offering guidance, mentorship, and training.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and application teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems and services.
- Manage relationships with external vendors for hardware and software procurement, installation, and support.
- Liaise with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- CCNA and AI certifications are required.
- Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on network engineering experience (LAN/WAN design and maintenance).
- Proven experience with AI technologies in network management.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs).
- Proficiency with Cisco products (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Experience with network monitoring and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python).
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and SD-WAN is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership and mentoring experience.
- Advanced certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are desirable.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and tools.
- Experience in Agile or DevOps environments is a plus.
