Network/IT Engineer

Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Network & IT Infrastructure Engineer responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization's network infrastructure and core IT systems. This role focuses primarily on network operations, security and availability, while also supporting server and IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate should be operationally focused, proactive in troubleshooting and able to take ownership of maintaining stable IT infrastructure in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and monitor network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls and VPNs

• Maintain and support Cisco and Fortinet network/security platforms

• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure high availability of network services

• Support SD-WAN deployment and maintenance

• Administer Windows and Linux servers, including virtualization environments

• Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and LAN infrastructure

• Maintain system and network documentation, asset inventory and technical reports

• Provide Level 1-2 IT infrastructure and end-user support

• Perform system patching, monitoring and operational maintenance

• Participate in Business Continuity Management (BCM) and disaster recovery exercises

• Participate in network security monitoring and incident response

• Perform other IT-related duties assigned by the IT Manager

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in network and IT infrastructure administration

• Experience managing Cisco switches/routers and Fortinet firewalls

• Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, VPNs and network security

• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Linux systems

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V) is an advantage

• Knowledge of SD-WAN and cloud technologies is an advantage

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a hands-on approach to infrastructure support

• Ability to take ownership of IT systems and support long-term operational stability

• Experience supporting production environments will be preferred

• Professional certifications such as CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent are an advantage

• Willing to be on-call for IT emergencies after office hours and weekends
