Network Infrastructure Engineer

This role involves network implementation, administration, troubleshooting, and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver secure and reliable connectivity services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewall, load balancer, and DNS environments.
• Implement network changes and configurations in accordance with change management processes.
• Troubleshoot network issues and optimise performance.
• Design and support network solutions based on business requirements.
• Conduct proof-of-concepts and support infrastructure upgrades/refresh initiatives.
• Maintain network documentation and operational procedures.
• Participate in a rotational 24/7 standby support roster.
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical knowledge sharing within the team

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of Network Engineering experience in a medium to large enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewall, and network security technologies.
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, VPN, NAT, ACL, DNS, DHCP, and load balancing.
• Familiarity with enterprise network and security platforms from leading vendors.
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• CCNP or equivalent networking certification.
• Firewall certifications are advantageous (eg: CheckPoint or Palo Alto).
• Experience supporting large-scale or mission-critical environments is a plus.
