About the role
As a Network Engineer at VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD., you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient network infrastructure. This full-time position is based in the Lavender Central Region and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the company's growth.
What you'll be doing
- Design, configure, and optimize network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Ensure network performance, reliability, and security by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving any issues that arise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions that support the company's business objectives
- Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends, and recommend improvements to the network infrastructure
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on network-related matters
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the network infrastructure
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a network engineering or administration role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security concepts
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba)
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring and management tools
- Experience in implementing and supporting cloud-based network solutions
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA) are preferred
