Job Description

Job Description

We are seeking a Network Engineer with telco or ISP operations experience to support and grow our carrier-grade connectivity services.
This role is ideal for engineers currently working in telco NOC, ISP, or carrier-facing environments who want broader exposure beyond ticket handling, with hands-on involvement in real-world MPLS, BGP, and regional circuit operations.

Training and structured guidance will be provided to develop deeper design and implementation skills over time.

Key Responsibilities

Telco & Carrier Operations

  • Support daily operations of carrier circuits, including SD-WAN, and point-to-point links.

  • Handle incident troubleshooting, service degradation, and outages in coordination with telco carriers and ISPs.

  • Perform fault isolation using logs, alarms, and routing information, with escalation where required.

  • Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and change activities.

Provisioning & Service Delivery

  • Coordinate provisioning of new circuits with telco providers and data centre partners.

  • Track circuit orders, lead times, testing, and acceptance.

  • Assist with service turn-up, verification, and documentation.

Network Support & Engineering Exposure

  • Support routing and switching environments using BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and IP addressing.

  • Work with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet platforms under guidance.

  • Gain exposure to carrier-grade network design and redundancy concepts.

  • Exposure to DWDM environments is an advantage.

Documentation & Process

  • Maintain accurate records of circuit details, configurations, and network diagrams.

  • Follow operational processes, change management, and SLA requirements.

  • Prepare incident summaries and service reports when required.

Technical Skills

  • Good understanding of:

    • TCP/IP networking fundamentals

  • Hands-on or exposure experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet devices.

  • Familiarity with MPLS / carrier networks is strongly preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Network Engineering, or related field
(or equivalent technical training with strong learning capability)

Other Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin for coordination with regional carriers and partners.

  • Willingness to support occasional after-hours incidents as part of a rotational support arrangement.

  • Willingness to travel locally and occasionally overseas for project or service support.

  • Strong sense of responsibility, documentation discipline, and willingness to learn.

What This Role Offers
