Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Network Engineer for a 12-month contract engagement. The ideal candidate will have
extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki technologies and a strong background in
network automation. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Cisco Meraki networking infrastructure (switches, wireless, firewalls, SD-WAN).
- Automate network configuration, monitoring, and deployment tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible, or similar).
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and application teams to ensure optimal network performance and security.
- Monitor and analyze network performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Document network architecture, configuration changes, and procedures.
- Provide support for network upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a network engineering role.
- Proven expertise in Cisco Meraki technologies (MX, MS, MR, MV).
- Experience with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, REST APIs).
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPN, VLANs, QoS, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
