What You'll Do:
- Infrastructure Automation & Operational Efficiency: Develop automation scripts, workflows, and tools to simplify deployment, configuration, and scaling of network and application infrastructure. Reduce manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Network Troubleshooting & Incident Response: Diagnose and resolve complex network and system issues across infrastructure, platform, and application layers. Participate in on-call rotations to ensure rapid recovery during major incidents.
- Solution Ownership & Collaboration: Take ownership of end-to-end network solutions. Work closely with engineering teams to validate, optimize, and maintain network components.
- Monitoring, Performance & Reliability: Deploy and manage monitoring systems to track network and infrastructure health, performance, and availability. Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks and vulnerabilities.
- Configuration Management & Disaster Recovery: Implement automated configuration management and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity and consistent environments.
- Security & Compliance: Apply security best practices, enforce access controls, and maintain compliance with organizational and industry standards. Harden networks and implement encryption, threat mitigation, and monitoring measures.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, switching, routing, and OSI layer protocols.
- Hands-on experience with WAN, LAN, wireless, voice, structured cabling, and network security systems.
- Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAT, DNS, DHCP, and wireless network optimization.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Vagrant, Docker, or similar.
- Knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC), PKI, cybersecurity threats, CDN optimization, and emerging technologies such as SD-WAN, VXLAN, NFV, SASE, and IoT networking.
- Proficiency in both Windows and Linux networking environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service reliability and quality.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
- Relevant experience in enterprise networking, infrastructure automation, network operations, and troubleshooting is highly preferred.
