Job Description
We're Hiring: Network Engineer / Senior Network Engineer
Location: Singapore
Employment Type: 12-month renewable employment term
Multiple openings available
We are seeking experienced Network Engineers with strong, hands-on expertise in both FortiGate SD-WAN and Zscaler to support enterprise network operations and transformation initiatives in Singapore.
Mandatory Technical Requirements
- Hands-on experience implementing, configuring and troubleshooting FortiGate SD-WAN.
- Strong understanding of SD-WAN rules, performance SLA/health checks, link steering, IPsec VPN, routing, firewall policies and failover.
- Hands-on experience supporting or implementing Zscaler ZIA and/or ZPA.
- Experience with Zscaler policies, application access, tunnels/connectors, traffic forwarding, authentication and troubleshooting.
- Strong enterprise LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless and network security knowledge.
- Good understanding of BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, QoS and network segmentation.
- Ability to perform Level 3 troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and incident resolution.
- Experience with network implementation, migration, upgrades and change management.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure and support enterprise network and security solutions.
- Manage and troubleshoot FortiGate SD-WAN and Zscaler environments.
- Support network transformation, technology refresh and migration activities.
- Diagnose complex connectivity, routing, performance and security incidents.
- Prepare and maintain network diagrams, configuration records, implementation plans, MOPs and operational documentation.
- Work with regional teams, customers, vendors and NOC teams.
- Ensure changes comply with security, governance and change-management requirements.
- For senior-level applicants, lead solution design, architecture reviews, capacity planning and technical delivery.
Experience
- Network Engineer: approximately 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Senior Network Engineer/Lead: approximately 10-15 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Fortinet/FCP/NSE or Zscaler certifications would be advantageous.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
Important: Generic firewall experience alone is insufficient. Applicants must have practical experience with FortiGate SD-WAN and Zscaler.
