Job Title: Network Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a Network Engineer to provide day-to-day operations and project support for enterprise network and security infrastructure. The role involves network monitoring, troubleshooting, infrastructure management, project delivery, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide BAU operational support and administration of network and security infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, availability, bandwidth, and health of network equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and service requests with minimal disruption.
• Manage and maintain firewalls, switches, routers, proxy servers, load balancers, NAC, wireless, and VPN infrastructure.
• Support network projects, infrastructure upgrades, and implementation of new network solutions.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patches, hot fixes, and security configuration updates.
• Collaborate with vendors, service providers, business partners, and internal IT teams for issue resolution.
• Support network equipment procurement and coordinate subcontractors for network installations.
• Implement automation and innovative solutions to improve network efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, asset inventories, and security policy documents.
• Ensure compliance with configuration, change management, corporate security policies, and audit requirements.
• Perform physical network asset verification and maintain accurate equipment records.
• Provide standby and after-hours support when required.
• Keep up to date with emerging networking technologies, monitoring tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, routers, load balancers, proxy, NAC, wireless, and VPN.
• Knowledge of Aruba ClearPass (NAC) is mandatory.
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewall, Alcatel Switches, Aruba Wireless Controllers, RSA, F5 VPN, and Alteon Load Balancers.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN and VxLAN.
• Knowledge of AWS/cloud infrastructure is an advantage.
• Experience handling network infrastructure projects and strong project management skills.
• Willingness to provide after-hours/standby support when required.
• CCNP/CCIE certification is preferred.
• Network+, CISSP, or other relevant certifications will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
