Job Title: Network Engineer (L2 Support)

Must Have:

• CCNP Certification

Good to Have:

• CCIE Certification

Must Have Skillsets:

• Cisco Routers and Switches
• L2 Network Support

Good to Have Skillsets:

• Firewall Administration

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues escalated from the L1 support team.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Work closely with L3 engineers to implement new network solutions and improve the efficiency of current networks.
• Perform regular network maintenance and system upgrades including patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
• Document network problems and resolution steps for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of network devices and licenses.
• Enforce network security policies and procedures.
• Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.
