Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across on-premise data centres and cloud environments
- Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline deployment, configuration, and scaling of systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues across infrastructure, platform, and application layers
- Participate in on-call support and incident response to ensure timely resolution of service disruptions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise and maintain network performance and reliability
- Implement monitoring solutions to track system health, utilisation, and performance metrics
- Manage configuration systems and support disaster recovery, backup, and failover processes
- Apply security best practices to ensure compliance with organisational and industry standards
- Continuously improve network performance, scalability, and resilience
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure operations, or related fields
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g. IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, routing, switching, OSI model)
- Experience with network infrastructure including WAN, LAN, wireless, and network security systems
- Familiarity with technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAT, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Docker, or similar) is an advantage
- Knowledge of both Windows and Linux server environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of advanced networking concepts such as SD-WAN, VXLAN, NFV, or cloud networking platforms
- Knowledge of security frameworks including Zero Trust, NAC, PKI, or related practices
- Exposure to emerging technologies such as IoT networking or distributed systems
