Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily network operations to ensure performance, reliability, and security of enterprise infrastructure.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, proxy servers, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP servers.
• Configure and manage routing, switching, firewall policies, ACLs, and secure access solutions.
• Support deployment and administration of Cisco SD-WAN environments to optimize connectivity and network traffic.
• Manage and configure Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco wireless solutions, and Zscaler ZIA/ZPA platforms.
• Implement and maintain secure authentication and access control technologies such as AAA, 802.1X, and TACACS+.
• Monitor network performance, conduct troubleshooting, and coordinate scheduled upgrades and improvements.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve network efficiency, scalability, and security.
• Work with vendors and subcontractors for network installations and infrastructure projects.
• Provide regular network performance and status updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in Network Engineering or a related infrastructure role.
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, routing, switching, firewalls, and network security concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, Palo Alto firewalls, and Zscaler solutions.
• Experience managing Cisco SD-WAN environments is highly preferred.
• Cisco CCNP and Palo Alto PCNSE certifications are mandatory.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex network issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies.
