Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for optimizing network performance.

Job Responsibilities

. Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, etc.)

. Configure and install network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)

. Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability

. Troubleshoot network issues and outages, and provide timely resolutions

. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations

. Collaborate with other IT teams to manage and support infrastructure projects

. Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures

. Ensure network security through access controls, firewalls, and VPN configurations

. Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations for improvements

. Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning

Job Qualifications

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

. Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator

. Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware

. Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar technologies

. Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)

. Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, TCP/IP)

. Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus

. Relevant certifications (e.g., Fortinet, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) preferred
