Network Engineer (L2&L3 Support) (based in Singapore)
Scope of responsibility
- Plan improvement and suggest solutions to reduce network faults
- Plan, prioritise and execute planned maintenance on network to support network growth, address software/hardware defects
- Manage and proactively monitor network for optimum network performance
- Service level improvement on Network through design change, monitoring improvement and capacity management
- Monitor and resolve issues related to network
- Perform site surveys, POC for customers whenever required
- Installation, configuration, commissioning, tech support of Wireless, Networking, Firewall
- Responsible for developing and testing new capabilities for wireless, networking, security, and incorporation them into new products for sales
- Provide level 2, Level 3 support
Requirement
- Diploma in Electrical /Electronic / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems from a recognized institution
- In-depth Knowledge of wireless, routers, switches architecture
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in technical configuration & troubleshooting of Huawei, Cisco, or Aruba Data Centre switches, wireless, and Fortinet, Palo Alto Firewalls
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Good customer interaction, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work with all levels, and ability to work and contribute in a team or individually
