Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Network Engineer with CCNA certification to join our growing IT infrastructure team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. You'll work collaboratively with IT teams to support network operations while staying current with emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently and decisively.

- Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure using Cisco networking equipment and technologies to support organizational goals

- Configure and manage routing and switching protocols to ensure seamless network connectivity, performance, and reliability

- Perform comprehensive network troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve connectivity issues promptly and systematically

- Monitor network performance and analyze traffic patterns to optimize network efficiency, capacity planning, and resource allocation

- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, access control lists, and VPN configurations in accordance with best practices

- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures in a clear, organized, and transparent manner for future reference and knowledge sharing

- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements

- Conduct regular network assessments and provide analytical recommendations for system enhancements and optimization

- Respond to network incidents and provide technical support to resolve issues within established timeframes while maintaining service quality

- Stay current with industry best practices, emerging networking technologies, and Cisco product innovations

- Participate in capacity planning initiatives and contribute to strategic network infrastructure decisions

- Support team members and mentor junior staff in network engineering best practices and troubleshooting methodologies

Qualifications ..Required Qualifications:..

- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in network engineering or network administration

- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network architecture fundamentals

- Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching equipment

- Proficiency in LAN/WAN configuration and management

- Solid understanding of network security fundamentals and best practices

- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot network issues systematically and efficiently

- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Experience with network incident response and management

- Strong time management and prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher-level certification

- Experience with cloud networking platforms and hybrid network environments

- Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools

- Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks

- Experience with network automation and scripting

- Familiarity with network design tools and software

- Strong communication and technical writing skills

- Experience with network performance optimization and capacity planning

- Ability to mentor and support junior team members
