Network Engineer ( AWS / Palo Alto / Hybrid Connectivity )

We are looking for a candidate to join our client's Cloud & Data Centre Solutions team, where they design and manage mission-critical environments for global clients.

As an AWS Network Engineer, you will be the backbone of secure connectivity. You will bridge the gap between traditional on-premise security and modern cloud infrastructure, ensuring hybrid environments are resilient, high-performing, and impenetrable.

Responsibilities

• Firewall & VPN Management: Take ownership of Palo Alto Firewalls and GlobalProtect VPN systems to ensure secure access for all users and services.

• AWS Network Orchestration: Design, configure, and monitor core AWS networking components, including VPCs, Security Groups, Route Tables, NAT Gateways, and Load Balancers.

• Hybrid Connectivity: Maintain and troubleshoot secure tunnels between on-premise data centers and the AWS cloud environment.

• Operational Excellence: Respond to network incidents and service requests using ITIL practices (Incident, Change, and Problem Management) to minimize downtime.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Cloud Architects and Security teams to implement best-practice network designs.

• Documentation: Maintain precise records of network diagrams, configuration changes, and standard operating procedures.

Job Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Proven experience managing Palo Alto Firewalls and a solid understanding of VPN technologies.

• Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS networking services you should be comfortable navigating the AWS Console to manage virtual networks.

• Process Knowledge: A foundational understanding of the ITIL framework to manage workplace tasks and escalations professionally.

• Communication: Strong ability to explain technical network issues to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
  
  Good to Have:
  
  AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA), or Cisco CCNA/CCNP.
