Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects, project teams, and customer IT teams to deploy and implement IT automation solutions.
- Work with network engineering and operations teams to define and implement automation requirements.
- Develop, test, and deploy automation playbooks using tools such as Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and Terraform.
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
- Document playbooks, workflows, and reusable automation modules.
- Troubleshoot and support automation frameworks and scripts.
- Perform maintenance and support activities, including troubleshooting, incident response, and patching.
- Write scripts and automation code in Python, Bash, or YAML as required.
- Support and implement Linux-variant, open-source, DevOps/Containers technologies, automation platforms, and middleware solutions.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years of experience (for Junior) or 5 years (for Senior) in automation, infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
- Knowledge of network architectures and configuration workflows.
- Hands-on experience with container lifecycle management and Kubernetes (on-premises or managed), with familiarity in Red Hat OpenShift.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible AAP and Terraform.
- Experience in infrastructure/network automation (e.g., Cisco ACI, network switches, F5, Checkpoint firewall) is an advantage.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, YAML.
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub, or other CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with YAML, Jinja2 templates, REST APIs, and JSON/XML.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience & Certifications :
- Knowledge of API Gateway, service mesh, and observability tools.
- Experience in security automation (e.g., CIS hardening, vulnerability scanning).
- Professional certifications such as:
Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift
