Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior .NET Developer to join our development team supporting a large-scale application support and maintenance project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with .NET technologies and will contribute to both new development and ongoing support, ensuring high-quality, reliable software delivery.
You will work closely with Agile team members and stakeholders, participate in production support, and help maintain and enhance enterprise applications while adhering to best practices and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of the development team on core .NET technologies, including C#, Angular, and SQL Server.
- Collaborate with Agile team members to identify and resolve technical impediments.
- Perform hands-on development, support, maintenance, and enhancement of existing applications.
- Participate in production support, addressing incidents and serving as a technical resource for the team.
- Apply best practices to reduce duplicate processes and reusable code.
- Communicate regularly with project managers regarding progress, risks, and deliverables.
- Review and contribute to technical documentation, diagrams, and design artifacts.
- Manage BUA/RTB work queues and ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Adhere to coding standards, software quality benchmarks, and development best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience working on the .NET platform, including .NET Framework 4.5.
- Strong experience with C#, SQL Server, and web application development.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, TFS).
- Understanding of project estimation, planning, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience working in high-performing teams across the full software development lifecycle.
