Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced NDT Inspector to perform inspections on aircraft engine components using UT, X-ray, and FPI methods. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform UT, X-ray, and FPI inspections on aircraft engine components
- Interpret work instructions and make decisions on acceptance/rejection of parts
- Work from written instructions, operation sheets, standard operating procedures, engineering drawings, and quality procedures
- Set up and calibrate NDT equipment, perform daily system checks, and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection
- Apply acceptance criteria in accordance with applicable specifications and standards
- Complete reports, initiate non-conformance reports, and participate in CIP projects and audit preparations
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and comply with company safety rules and regulations
Requirements:
- Education: GCE O / A Level, Nitec / Technical Certificate, or equivalent / Diploma
- Experience: 3-7 years in a related field
- Certification: NAS 410 / EN 4179 or equivalent certification on UT, X-ray, and FPI
- Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and good communication skills
