MYP Bilingual Arts Teacher (Music and Drama)

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic MYP Bilingual Arts Teacher (Music and Drama) who can inspire students and support their artistic growth in both Chinese and English. The ideal candidate will design and deliver engaging lessons, nurture creative expression, and promote confidence, collaboration, and creativity among learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Music and Drama across multiple grade levels in both Chinese and English.

• Design, plan, and deliver creative, inquiry-based lessons aligned with curriculum objectives.

• Organize and facilitate student performances, productions, and showcases.

• Create an inclusive and collaborative classroom environment that empowers student voice and encourages artistic exploration.

• Work closely with colleagues to integrate the arts across the curriculum.

• Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback to support continuous growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music, Drama, Performing Arts, or a related discipline.

• Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience preferred.

• Strong proficiency in both Chinese and English-speaking, reading, and writing-to effectively conduct lessons and support student learning in both languages.

• Solid understanding of Music and Drama pedagogy, performance techniques, and effective classroom management.

• Passion for fostering creativity and holistic student development.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural and bilingual environment.

• MYP teaching experience is an advantage.
