Mutual Fund Product Manager

Job Overvew:

Manage the Mutual Fund platform and own the P/L. Drive the product strategy by targeting both Wealth Management and Corporate customers and providing executable product ideas to Relationship Managers and Investment Consultants. For the product platform, the focus is on robustness, control and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• This new role provides fund selection, daily management and recommendations to support our Private Wealth Management business in Singapore.

• Responsible for the review of both traditional and alternative funds as well as ongoing support of funds.

• Provide the Relationship Managers and Investment Consultants with fund recommendations, market intelligence, monitoring and model portfolios

• Provide investment advisory support as well as championing of fund products to both local and regional sales team.

• Work with both internal business units and external asset managers in delivering advisory communications and training.

• Participate in regional funds initiatives and projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in fund product management, fund selection / due diligence for Mutual Funds

• An understanding of Hedge Funds and Private Markets will be advantageous

• Team player with the ability to work together with internal and external stakeholders in a collaborative manner

• Strong presentation and communication skills, with relevant experience in conducting product training to Relationship Manager and Investment Consultant and marketing seminar to Wealth Management customers;

• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

• Pro-active, self-starter and goal orientated. Possess teamwork skills such as listening, communication and conflict management;

• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin as the role requires written communication in Traditional Chinese with Mandarin-speaking colleagues in Taiwan and Wealth Management customers in Greater China.
