Murex MLC (Limit Controller)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Murex professional with strong expertise in the MLC (Limit Controller) module to support enterprise risk management and limits monitoring functions. The candidate will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and enhancing MLC within the Murex platform, working closely with risk, trading, and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and support the Murex MLC (Limit Controller) module for limits setup, monitoring, and breach management.
• Work on enterprise risk management functions including VAR and limit structures within Murex.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to limit calculations, aggregation, and utilization across desks and portfolios.
• Collaborate with risk management and trading teams to gather requirements and translate them into MLC configurations.
• Support testing, UAT, and production issue resolution related to MLC.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for Murex upgrades and MLC-related enhancements.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of overall Murex experience, with strong hands-on expertise in the MLC (Limit Controller) module.
• Good understanding of enterprise risk management concepts (VAR, limits, exposure monitoring).
• Familiarity with trade lifecycle and various asset classes (FX, Rates, Fixed Income, Derivatives).
• Working knowledge of SQL/Sybase for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Murex upgrades/migrations involving MLC.
• Exposure to other risk modules (VAR, MPC) within Murex.
