We are seeking a Murex Migration Lead to manage and support a Murex migration programme across data, trades, static data, market data, workflows, reporting, reconciliation, testing and go-live activity.

The consultant will act as the lead SME for migration planning and execution, working closely with business users, Murex functional teams, technical teams, testing teams, project managers and downstream system owners. The role requires strong hands-on Murex experience, proven migration delivery background and the ability to coordinate complex front-to-back migration activity across multiple workstreams.

Requirements:

• Strong experience working with Murex MX.3, ideally across large-scale implementation, upgrade or migration programmes.
• Previous experience as a Murex Migration Lead, Migration SME, Senior Murex Consultant or Technical / Functional Lead on Murex migration projects.
• Good understanding of Murex front-to-back trade lifecycle across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, Finance, Accounting, Market Data, Datamart, MxML and downstream reporting.
• Experience migrating trades, static data, market data, portfolios, counterparties, settlement instructions, agreements, products, historical data or reporting data.
• Strong knowledge of data mapping, extraction, transformation, loading, validation and reconciliation.
• Experience defining migration strategy, migration approach, cutover plans, dress rehearsals, mock runs and go-live runbooks.
• Strong understanding of Murex workflows, interfaces, Datamart, MxML, reporting and batch processes.
• Experience working with technical teams on migration scripts, SQL, Unix, batch scheduling, data extracts and reconciliation tooling.
• Ability to identify migration risks, data gaps, reconciliation breaks, downstream impacts and cutover dependencies.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, regression testing, parallel runs, dress rehearsals and production cutover.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business, IT, operations, risk, finance, project management and vendor teams.
• Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and drive issue resolution under tight delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of Murex migration activity across relevant workstreams.
• Define the overall migration strategy, including scope, approach, sequencing, dependencies, controls and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate migration activity across trade data, static data, market data, reference data, portfolios, counterparties, settlement instructions, agreements and downstream reporting.
• Work with business and technical teams to define source-to-target mapping and migration rules.
• Oversee data extraction, transformation, loading and validation activity.
• Support the development and review of migration scripts, SQL queries, reconciliation tools and automation processes.
• Define and manage migration reconciliation approach across trade attributes, cashflows, accounting, PnL, sensitivities, market data, static data and reporting outputs.
• Lead migration testing across SIT, UAT, regression testing, mock migration, parallel runs and dress rehearsals.
• Own migration defect tracking, root cause analysis and resolution coordination.
• Work with Murex functional teams to validate migrated data across FO, BO, Risk, Finance, Accounting, Datamart and reporting areas.
• Coordinate with interface and downstream system teams to ensure migrated data is correctly consumed outside Murex.
• Prepare migration runbooks, cutover plans, dress rehearsal packs, validation checklists and go-live readiness documentation.
• Manage migration risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
• Support business sign-off by ensuring migrated data is complete, accurate and reconciled.
• Lead cutover execution and provide post-go-live migration support.
• Act as the main point of contact for migration status, blockers, readiness and issue escalation.
