We are seeking highly-motivated Murex Back Office System Analyst based in Singapore to work in a client-servicing role with the following responsibilities:
  • Hands-on business analysis role to analyze and propose solutions for business issues, process changes and functional requirements.
  • Design and execute test cases for trade lifecycle events and accounting processes.
  • Support SIT/UAT phases and assist in obtaining user sign-offs.
  • Document functional flows, test results, and provide post-implementation support.
  • Assist in analyzing downstream systems and reporting interfaces.
  • Provide Murex Back Office Support and participate in Murex implementation/ upgrade projects.
  • Assist and be involved in the build/ test/ support of Murex projects in the Murex Back Office streams.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot Murex Back Office functional and technical issues.
  • Hands-on workflow (MxML) configuration in Murex to manage trade validation, confirmation and events.
  • Collaborate with different technology teams and other divisions to deliver system solutions.
  • Build a strong relationship and manage expectations with users and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably from Financial Engineering, Business Analytics or Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst/System Analyst in Back Office processes in Capital Markets.
  • Experience in workflow configuration/ development in Murex to manage trade validation, confirmation and events.
  • Knowledge of MxML Exchange, trade flows, confirmation generation, payment flows.
  • Strong knowledge and functional experience on various asset classes. E.g. FX MM, IRD, EQD.
  • A strong proven track record of client servicing.
  • Understand customer needs and build effective relationships.
  • Strong time management skills and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills.
  • Solid experience in gathering and writing requirements and functional specifications.
