Job Description

About Singapore Brain Development Centre (SBDC)

Singapore Brain Development Centre (SBDC) is a premier provider of holistic, science-based brain training and intervention programmes. Changing Lives, Unleashing the Fullest Potential, we believe that every individual can excel when equipped with the right tools, skills, and support.

At SBDC, we bridge brain research with real-world application, delivering cutting-edge cognitive training programmes that strengthen the underlying learning and processing systems of the brain.

Through our scientific assessments, we identify each individual's cognitive strengths and challenges, and design personalised programmes to enhance mental performance, address weakness, and accelerate learning-regardless of age or current level of ability.

The Role

SBDC supports children with developmental, learning, and emotional-regulation challenges through a holistic, integrated intervention model. We are seeking a multi-disciplinary therapist who is able to blend sensory integration, play-based approaches, language and communication strategies, and cognitive-based interventions to help children build functional, real-life skills-not just perform well within therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 and small group intervention across Sensory Processing/Integration, play-based therapy, emotional regulation & engagement, communication & language support, attention & focus, executive functions/higher-order thinking, and initiative/creative skills.
  • Conduct observations/screening; develop individualised goals and intervention plans with home/school carryover when relevant.
  • Coach parents with practical strategies for routines, co-regulations and follow-through at home.
  • Collaborate with the team through case discussions, shared planning and appropriate referrals/handovers.

Requirement & Profile

  • Degree (or equivalent) in OT, speech & Language, Psychology, Special Education, Counselling, Early Childhood, or related disciplines.
  • Experience supporting children with sensory, behavioural, attention, learning, language or emotional needs (clinic/school/home-based)
  • Strong rapport-building and session facilitation skills (warmth+structure)
  • Comfortable integrating approaches; willing to be coached and trained.
  • Clear communication and professional documentation; able to guide parents with clarity and care.

Nice-to-have

  • Exposure/training in sensory integration, play therapy, behaviour support, execution function coaching, social communication or parent coaching.
  • Experience writing goals/progress notes and participating in multidisciplinary case planning.

What You'll Get

  • Structured onboarding and mentoring in SBDC's integrated framework.
  • Collaborative team culture and meaningful, hans-on work with children and families.
  • Growth pathways into Senior Therapist/Case Manager/Training Manager/Programme Specialist tracks
