Job Summary
Responsible for mold trials, machine setup, and process parameter optimization.Troubleshoot molding defects (e.g., short shot, flash, warpage), support FAIand reporting, and ensure smooth transfer to mass production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mold trials (T0, T1, T2, etc.) and operate injection molding machines.
- Set up and optimize molding parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, cooling time, etc.).
- Analyze and troubleshoot molding defects such as short shot, flash, sink marks, warpage, and sticking issues.
- Work closely with tooling and QA teams to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare and parameter sheets, and documentation (FAI, SR reports, etc.).
- Support dimensional verification and ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Recommend improvements to mold design, processes, and material usage.
- Assist in process validation and transfer to mass production (golden parameter setup).
