This position is a commercially driven Key Account Manager role with full ownership of new business development and strategic accounts across the medical device sector.
You will act as an individual contributor responsible for opening new accounts, pitching manufacturing capabilities, and closing complex B2B deals involving medical-grade silicone and plastic injection molding solutions.
You will work closely with regional manufacturing, technical, and commercial leadership, while operating with a high degree of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Own new business development and key accounts in Singapore and the wider region
- Proactively identify, target, and win new medical OEM customers, expanding market share and manufacturing capacity utilization
- Pitch and position medical sealing, LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber), and plastic injection molding solutions to engineering, quality, procurement, and commercial stakeholders
- Lead customer negotiations including pricing, tooling discussions, capacity planning, and commercial terms
- Build and execute account and territory plans aligned with short- and long-term growth objectives
- Act as the primary commercial interface between customers and internal stakeholders (manufacturing, operations, R&D, quality, and regional leadership)
- Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting via CRM
- Strong representative at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows
- Bring market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback back into the organization to influence strategy
What We're Looking For
Required
- 5+ years of experience in medical device, MedTech, or healthcare-related B2B sales
- Proven success in direct sales and new account acquisition (hunter mindset)
- Strong technical foundation - able to engage credibly with engineers and quality teams
- Experience selling manufactured or engineered solutions (contract manufacturing, components, systems, or technical services)
- Comfortable working independently in a flat, evolving organization
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Highly Preferred
- Experience with medical injection molding (LSR, silicone, plastics) or medical components
- Exposure to medical manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or OEM supplier environments
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, regulatory, or quality-driven industries
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
