Job Description
A Mortgage Retention Specialist must be proactive and customer focused. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging existing mortgage customers to retain their Mortgage by provide repricing options and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the mortgage lifecycle. Cross-selling will also be a part of a key-focus.
Job Responsibilities
- Proactively contact existing mortgage customers approaching lock-in expiry or repricing eligibility
- Offer tailored solutions, including repricing or restructuring options
- Handle customer queries related to mortgage rates, terms, and account servicing
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Credit, Product, Sales) to support customer needs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, interest rates, and market trends
- Actively cross-sell relevant bank products and services to existing mortgage customers to increase overall product holding and deepen customer relationships
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements

Job Requirements
- A recognised University Degree/Diploma
- Prior experience in Sales or property and/or consumer mortgage sectors is highly preferred
- Able to work with high volume under tight timelines
- Results-oriented, dynamic and self-driven
- Competent in managing internal stakeholders and Customers
