Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and vendor coordination mon to sun 1130am to 1130pm daily.
- Recruit, hire, train, and onboard new staff members
- Create work schedules that balance coverage needs with labor costs
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to employees
- Motivate the sales team to meet sales objectives through training and mentoring
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and implement strategies to drive sales growth
- Manage inventory levels, order new items, and ensure merchandise availability on the floor
- Conduct regular inventory counts and investigate discrepancies to control stock loss and shrinkage
- Develop and arrange promotional materials and in-store displays
- Maintain outstanding visual merchandising standards according to brand guidelines
- Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Prepare detailed reports on buying trends, customer requirements, sales data, and profit margins
- Prepare and manage store budgets, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions
- Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable
- Ensure the store is kept clean, safe, and presentable at all times
- Handle employee conflicts and disciplinary actions when needed
- Communicate feedback about the business to upper management including customer requests and market opportunities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years of retail management experience
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service-oriented with proven ability to resolve customer issues professionally
- Knowledge of basic business management processes and retail operations
- Financial management skills including budgeting, accounting, and expense monitoring
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Problem-solving abilities and capacity to make quick decisions under pressure
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
