MIDNIGHT SHIFT Operation Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling, packaging, labeling, and transportation.
• Supervise shipping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations (domestic and international).
• Maintain shipping documentation and records for inventory control and auditing purposes.
• Optimize shipping processes and strategies to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with freight carriers and third-party logistics providers.
• Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or lost goods.
• Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, procurement, and customer service teams.
• Ensure all safety protocols and company policies are followed within the shipping department.
• Utilize shipping software and ERP systems to manage logistics operations efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Shipping Manager or in a similar logistics role.
• Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, regulations, and logistics management.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, or TMS).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license is a plus - ability to support transport operations when necessary.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse management.
• Able to commit with shift rotated and weekend.
